Haikus for New York City

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Born in Manhattan during WWII, Peter C. Goldmark, Jr. has lived most of his life as a New Yorker. As a creature of public life, Peter has run foundations, newspapers, and government agencies, including the Rockefeller Foundation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He began writing poetry at the age of 40, though mostly privately, as a vehicle for making sense of the world. Peter reached out to brand and publish his latest collection.

We took Peter and his Word doc of haikus through our process. Our team edited and designed his book, created a brand and website around it, and launched a PR strategy that garnered hits in Time Out NY and the New York Post. Originally intended to self-publish, the book was picked up by a publisher. We made their lives easy with the design and edit ready to go and all marketing materials in place for a successful launch.
